Kahlua is located at the eastern edge of Skiathos’s harbour in Ammoudia area, with a view to the deep green peninsula of Pounta. That’s where the colours of the rising sun play with the green of the trees and the blue of the sky, giving us a sea view, which is continuously rotated.
It has always been a Skiathian family business. We started operating in the food service field with the pizzeria “La luna” in 1990. However, the tourists’ increased invitation to entertainment, sowed the seed of an idea that begun to be carried out, when we added a small bar in the yard.
This was the first little step to the next big one that would follow.
“Kahlua” was born in June of 1994 and became the club of our hearts, that everyone who visited has something to remember… and through so many years, a lot of people have been emotionally connected to!
In 2011 and for 5 years, concurrently with the night club, “Kahlua” went…. to the beach. Between the golden sand of the famous Koukounaries beach, with the green lake and under the tufted trees, we served our first dishes, gaining new regular customers, who love tasty and quality food.
In the summer of 2020 and based on the current trends, we decided to update our services. We changed the way we operate substantially and created a pleasant, bohemian environment, where you’ll be able to enjoy our special dishes, from early noon to late in the evening, accompanied by good wine, tsipouro, or a cool beer. And if you feel like having more fun, an artistic cocktail will be waiting for you at our bar by the waves.
